The European Rotaract Information Centre (E.R.I.C.) is a multi-district information organisation (MDIO) serving Rotaract clubs across Europe.

E.R.I.C. and Rotaract are about…

  • Community Service
  • Leadership Development
  • Professional Development
  • International service

There are approximately 1254 chartered Rotaract clubs in Europe with membership of approximately 21,000 Rotaractors.

Rotaract clubs can be either community or university based and each Rotaract club is responsible for organising their own social and community programs. The programs range from a trip to the local pub to a holiday skiing, and from organising an international project to raise money for and building wells in Africa to a car wash in aid of the local football club. Rotaract clubs enable Rotaractors to address community needs, enhance member’s professional skills and promote international understanding through friendship and service while having lots of fun and making new friends!

The main function of E.R.I.C is to support international project and communications. For that purposes, E.R.I.C. organize 3 meeting per year, which is a great opportunity for Rotaractors literally from all around the world to meet and exchange experiences and inspire other with their projects.

Since 2004, E.R.I.C representative for Czech Republic and Slovakia is Filip Mrkvička from Rotaract Club Plzeň, who is more than open to any questions or suggestion about E.R.I.C and anything regarding Rotaract abroad.
On these pages, I’ll try to keep you informed about what is going on in Europe or in Rotaract worldwide.
